Dear colleagues,

We cordially invite you to the second Baltic & North Sea Conference on Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine that will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania. The conference will have the motto "from biomechanisms to outcomes" and its main topics are mechanisms and rehabilitation strategies in pain chronification and new results in mechanisms and application of aerobic exercise. As in the first BNC, special issue sessions and symposia about practical problems will be part of the program. In the "Rehabilitation across services" session the problem of sector interfaces will be discussed. Last but not least free communications and posters will be part of the program. With this conference besides of the communication within the Baltic & North Sea area we especially aim at the exchange of knowledge and experience with other Eastern European countries.

Vilnius is an exciting city with the tradition of an historic European capital and a dynamic modern development. Vilnius University is one of the oldest universities in Eastern Europe, and its beautiful buildings are a UNESCO World Heritage. In 2009 Vilnus was first Eastern European Culture Capital. You should visit the historical city centre that is one of the biggest preserved old city areas in Europe.

We would be very glad if you will attend this meeting and contribute to its success.
